If u apply a face pack without washing ur skin than all the dirty particles present on ur skin before pack will harm ur skin and even it will not allow ur face pack to do its work

And ……if u apply face wash after a face pack then everything things will be ruined

Face pack itself cleanse your skin than what is the use of face wash

So always make sure u do wash ur face, clean the surface of skin than u go for applying any other products

Answer 

Please remember that applying raw fruit is best for skin and anything you to your skin make it goes under your skin pores and if you apply any pulp on unwashed face then all the dirt on face will be blended with fruit pulp

All I need to tell is first clean your face with

Soap

Facewash or may be

Cleanser

And now apply papaya and after some time wash it off with plain water . No need to wash with soap or cleanser , because it will ruined all the benefits that papaya can give to your skin
